Preparing for #MACUL24

We are excited to see each and every one of you in Grand Rapids in March! We are taking every step possible to ensure that our attendees have an excellent conference experience this year. Check out the information below as you prepare to head to Grand Rapids.

General Tips for #MACUL24

  • Arrive Early (especially on Thursday Morning)
  • Wear Comfortable Shoes
  • Bring Snacks (food lines can be busy)
  • Download the App (make a profile to see others)
  • Get to your session rooms early
  • Connect & Share via Social Media with #MACUL24
  • Attend a Special Event (Special Sessions, Annual Reception, Annual Meeting, Featured Speaker, Keynotes, AR/VR Demos in the MACUL Zone)
  • Visit the Expo Hall (free swag and giveaways)
  • Bring a portable charger
 
We will continue to follow the recommended guidelines and best practices for offering a safe environment. As we get closer to March, we will provide updates and announcements related to venues and facilities as we get closer to the Conference.

Health & Safety Protocols

  • Masks are optional for all attendees
  • Multiple Hand Sanitizing Stations throughout both venues
  • Use the automatic water bottle fillers in DeVos Place. Note Amway Grand Plaza Hotel will have Water Stations available throughout.
  • Multiple ways to get Session locations to spread attendee traffic

Facility Parking Updates

  • Amway Grand Plaza Hotel:  $18 self/$25 valet (rates may differ for non-hotel guests)
  • Courtyard by Marriott$18 self/$25 valet (rates may differ for non-hotel guests)
  • JW Marriott$18 self/$25 valet (rates may differ for non-hotel guests)
  • AC Hotel: $32 self (Valet available for hotel guests only)
  • Hyatt Place: $32/day (must use Warner Building Ramp located at 150 Ionia Ave. NW)
  • DeVos Place Ramp:  Prices vary, see GR Parking Guide below
  • Surface Lots in GR:  multiple surface lots throughout downtown
  • Government Center Ramp: Prices vary, see GR Parking Guide below
  • Shuttles Available – we typically do not provide shuttles for the conference in Grand Rapids
